Chris Kamara: Lost for Words follows the renowned TV host on a very personal journey as he seeks to gain a better understanding of his recent diagnosis of Apraxia of Speech.
Footballing legend Chris Kamara will give viewers unprecedented access into his life with AOS, a speech condition in which a person has difficulty pronouncing words correctly and consistently, and his hard-fought battle to accept his diagnosis in the uplifting authored documentary.
Chris ‘Kammy’ Kamara is well-known and respected for his distinct and legendary football commentary. His distinct tones and presenting style have helped him become one of the country’s most popular broadcasters, and while his latest diagnosis hasn’t slowed him down, the Ninja Warrior host has admitted to finding it tough to watch himself on TV and is now debating whether he should continue.
The documentary will follow Kammy as he seeks advice from experts and meets others with AOS who are also navigating their way through this rare condition, all while shining a light and starting a conversation about a condition doctors know very little about.
