Episode Summary

VILLA D’ACAMPO has welcomed Christmas! Gino and the D’Acampo family and friends are gathering in Sardinia for a feast of Gino’s favourite dishes and a celebration of Italian food and culture.

Gino, his wife Jessica, their three children, Luciano, Rocco, and Mia, as well as their two dogs, Oreo and Duke, are getting ready to host the perfect Christmas feast at their Sardinian Villa. With their holiday sweaters on and the feast quickly approaching, it’s time to get to work!

While Jess finishes her Florentine biscuits – a typical snack Gino’s Nonna Flora used to make for him – and Gino bakes his all-time favourite dessert, a bread and butter pudding with a D’Acampo twist – With clear instructions from their father, Luciano and Rocco drive over to their neighbourhood butcher to pick up some important components for their meal, while Mia gets a special cooking lesson as Gino instructs her how to make the first course of the dinner: gnocchi with a classic tomato sauce.

While the dinner cooks, the family dresses themselves and the table before the visitors come and it’s time to eat!

Gino’s favourite time of year is when he can combine Italian traditions from his childhood with his family’s English traditions and share them with his loved ones.
