Even though it appears like everything is running smoothly at Claridge’s, one of London’s most opulent five-star hotels located in Mayfair, there is a bustling construction site underneath the upscale hotel’s gorgeous patrons who adore the better things in life. A remarkable engineering project is in progress to create a five-story basement at the bottom and 72 additional rooms and suites split across three further floors at the top.
