The staff in charge is dealing with the effects of a hectic day shift at the start of the night. As ambulance staff wait to turn over their patients, a line has already formed at the hospital. A local Italian restaurant receives a call to send crewmates Alan and Ellen to treat an 83-year-old patient who has passed out while out to supper with his family.
