A game bird shoot’s future in the twenty-first century In order to understand what it means to be a traditional shooting estate in the modern world and how it supports local businesses, Charlotte explores the 12,500-acre Rhug Estate in north Wales.
Sean is in Perthshire at the 1,300-acre Bamff Estate, which forgoes hunting in favour of ecotourism and is home to a beaver colony. Tom is in Wiltshire looking into the threat that the avian flu poses to the industry, while Adam is training his new sheepdog Gwen in the Cotswolds. Will she pass muster?
