Final Jeopardy Answer

The Final Jeopardy Answer is: Ford Model T

Final Jeopardy Explanation

The Ford Model T was an automobile produced by the Ford Motor Company from October 1, 1908.

It debuted at the price of around $850 USD, which is equivalent approximately $27,000 in today’s dollars. Some sources indicate that the original price was approximately $825 USD.

It is widely regarded as the first reasonably priced car that gave middle-class Americans access to driving. Ford used efficient fabrication techniques, such as assembly line production rather than custom handcrafting, to help keep costs down.

It was produced until May 26, 1927, and had a total of 15 million sales which made it the most sold car in history before being surpassed by the Volkswagen Beetle in 1972.
