Big Schools’ Winterwatch 2023 Season 4: Episode Summary
Join us live for a Winterwatch Live Lesson on birds on Thursday, January 26.
In this lesson for kids aged 7 to 11, we go behind the scenes of BBC Two’s Winterwatch with special guest Chris Packham, who will be responding to inquiries from schools all over the nation.
In addition to learning how various bird beaks have evolved to assist them in finding food, we will also explore food chains and food webs.
In collaboration with the RSPB’s Big Schools’ Birdwatch, we’ll also be learning how to get birds onto the grounds of your school and getting a close-up look at some of the species you might see on your bird feeders.
