An emergency call for a patient who has attempted suicide is received as crews start to sign up for the start of the day shift. Emily and Gayle, fellow crew members, are sent right away to help another crew. The patient is determined to be dead as Emily and Gayle make the ten-minute trip to offer support, but they choose to stay at the scene and support the bereaved family.
