Naturalist and presenter Chris Packham has received a deluge of letters and emails from other autistic people who are frustrated that the people in their lives—their friends, families, and coworkers—don’t understand them since sharing his own autism diagnosis with the public. Chris hopes to close the gap in this series.
Chris will assist a group of autistic individuals in creating short films to reveal to their family and friends how they’re truly feeling inside — what’s really going on in their autistic minds — by collaborating with top filmmakers, graphic designers, animators, and musicians.
He gives a nonspeaking autistic man the chance to share his message with the world, works with an autistic comedian to help her mother understand what’s really going on inside her head, and visits the only state school in the nation that is exclusively for autistic girls.
