At Bakewell Livestock Market in Derbyshire, Adam Henson and Charlotte Smith are present during the auction of thousands of sheep and cattle. Keith Harrop, who wants to get top dollar for one of his beef cattle, is one of the farmers hoping to make a few pennies. But is today’s business brisk enough? In addition, after a hectic market day, Charlotte learns about the origins of markets and how Bakewell is preparing for the future with pop-up stores and a walk-in medical clinic.
