Final Jeopardy Answer

The Final Jeopardy Answer is: Eiffel Tower

Final Jeopardy Explanation

The Eiffel Tower is a wrought-iron lattice tower on Paris’s Champ de Mars, named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose firm designed and built the tower.

Its design was initially criticised by some of France’s leading artists and intellectuals, including Léon Bloy who described it as “this truly tragic street lamp” and Guy de Maupassant who described it as “This high and skinny pyramid of iron ladders, this giant ungainly skeleton“.

The Eiffel Tower has since become a global cultural icon of France and one of the world’s most recognisable structures.
