Love and Loss Season 1 Episode 2 Episode Summary
Diego and Frida head to San Francisco since he has a significant mural commision there. In spite of Diego’s business dealings, Frida’s style generates a lot of enthusiasm, and she is adamant about succeeding on her own. She attempts to conceal her disgust for high society as she is shocked by the extreme disparity between rich and poor that she sees in New York during the Great Depression. Some of her most gruesome and sad pieces are the result of her losing a child to miscarriage and her mother to illness.
