Season 1 Episode 2 Episode Summary

Pip’s top goal is to study Miss Havisham and Estella to learn how to be a gentleman. Two men are about to be hanged as he starts to learn the ways of the world, but Mr. Jaggers’ solicitor blackmails the judge into forgiving his client. Mr. Pumblechook says Pip should continue his education with Miss Havisham and be paid handsomely for it when he gets home. Biddy declines Pip’s offer to pay her with the allowance he will be receiving when he asks her for assistance.
