Jeffrey Leigh-Jones from Portsmouth hired a life coach in the beginning of 2019. He needs a life mentor who can also assist him in achieving his professional goals. Two years later, Jeff had given away tens of thousands of pounds, sold his home, and had severed ties with his partner. He wasn’t the only one, either. In this investigation for the BBC, journalist Catrin Nye and her team expose control, intimidation and fear at a mysterious life coaching company taking over people’s lives and ripping families apart.
