Final Jeopardy Answer

The Final Jeopardy Answer is: Walt Disney

Final Jeopardy Explanation

Walt Disney proposed the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, known as EPCOT, and sketched the Seventh Preliminary Master Plot Plan, a master plan for the Florida site, in 1966, the year he passed away.

Disney envisioned EPCOT to be a utopian autocratic corporation town based on concepts from modernism and futurism and inspired by architectural literature about city planning. One of the main objectives of EPCOT was to take the place of urban sprawl as the driving force behind community development in the 1960s in the United States. Disney envisioned EPCOT as a true metropolis with a vast multimodal transportation network connecting its commercial, residential, industrial, and recreational areas. He claimed that EPCOT would “never cease to be a living blueprint of the future.”
