Season 1 Episode 4 Episode Summary
Estella wakes up haunted by dreams of escape only to discover that she is powerless to alter the situation. She is instead forced to get ready for the day’s excursion to London because Miss Havisham is present. Estella needs to meet her future husband, Mr. Drummle, and try on her wedding gown. Estella is only given one piece of advice or concern from Miss Havisham: to wash particularly carefully. Given that Mr. Drummle specializes in spices, he must have an especially good sense of smell. In the meantime, Pip is adjusting to life as a river rat.
