Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted Series Information
Globetrotting celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay serves up an epic adventure in "Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted." He travels around the world meeting with Indigenous people to learn about their foods and cultures. In each location, he harvests new ingredients and samples new dishes. He also teams up with local legends to cook feasts to present to the native peoples. As an Ironman athlete, Ramsay treks through a jungle, climbs a rock face and rappels down a raging waterfall. In his quest for culinary inspirations, he samples weaver ant eggs in Laos, hunts for eels with his bare hands, goes spear-fishing in Hawaii, and hangs off a cliff in Peru to harvest cactus worms. "It's been an amazing journey traveling off the beaten path with National Geographic and connecting with locals to learn and share incredible stories of unique traditions, delicacies and the extreme lengths it takes to harvest native ingredients," says Ramsay. |
