As the night shift begins, Dispatcher Essence Sullins and her team gear up to handle a multitude of emergency calls that flood in from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. From frantic medical emergencies to harrowing rescue situations, Essence and her team face the pressure of making split-second decisions that can mean the difference between life and death.
However, amidst the chaos of the night shift, one call stands out. Essence receives a call that sends shockwaves through her as she realizes it connects to someone within her own family.
