Final Jeopardy Answer

The Final Jeopardy Answer is: Watership Down

Final Jeopardy Explanation

Watership Down is a survival and adventure novel written by Richard Adams and published in 1972. The story follows a group of brave rabbits who flee their endangered warren in search of a safe new home and originated from tales that Adams told his two daughters on car journeys.

The novel explores various themes like leadership, home, community, survival, and freedom, with its own language (Lapine) and mythology. Despite its complexity and the themes it addresses, Adams and his daughters have said that Watership Down is not intended to be an allegory or metaphor for human society and maintain it’s “just a story about rabbits”. Adams won several awards for the novel, including the Carnegie Medal in Literature.
