Lee, played by the comedic genius Lee Mack, seizes the opportunity to make the most of three free tickets to the thrilling Adventure Canyon Theme Park. In his mischievous style, he decides to pull Mollie, his energetic and adorable daughter, out of school for the day to enjoy the amusement park together. However, their plan takes an unexpected turn when they find themselves on the wrong side of Miss Anstis, the strict new head teacher.
As Lee and Mollie navigate the roller coasters, funhouse mazes, and thrilling attractions, they must also devise a clever excuse to justify Mollie’s absence from school. Prepare for hilarious encounters, comical mishaps, and Lee’s quick wit as he tries to avoid the consequences of his impulsive decision.

Set during the span of several years, and thus covering major changes in Lee's life, the sitcom shows how Lee evolves from a sofa-dweller to a family man facing the joy and relentless onslaught of bringing up kids and dealing with his in-laws. |
