Season 10 Episode 56 Episode Summary

In tonight’s episode of Love Island, tensions are running high as the Islanders gear up for an adrenaline-pumping Sports Day challenge. Molly receives an unexpected text that sets the villa abuzz with excitement and anticipation. The Islanders are thrilled to unleash their competitive sides, and team captains Molly and Tyrique take turns selecting their teammates.

Molly’s blue team is composed of Mitch, Jess, Ella B, and Lochan, while Tyrique leads the red team, with Whitney, Sammy, Zac, and Ella as his teammates. The challenge features a series of contests, including the classic egg-and-spoon race and an intense tug of war. With their eyes on the prize, the Islanders are determined to give their all and claim victory.

Amidst the Sports Day fun, Ella and Tyrique find themselves at odds. Ella expresses her irritation, feeling like her opinions are often dismissed and shut down. The couple engages in a candid discussion, with Tyrique emphasizing the importance of communication in their relationship. As the Love Island Final looms, the question remains whether they can resolve their issues and strengthen their connection.

But that’s not the only bombshell awaiting the Islanders. Host Maya Jama makes her triumphant return to the villa, greeting the Islanders with warmth and excitement. As the group gathers around the fire pit, Maya reveals the results of the votes for the least compatible couples during their romantic dates. Ella B & Mitchel and Whitney & Lochan are the couples deemed the least compatible by their fellow Islanders.

The tension rises as Maya then announces that the public has been voting for their favorite couple of the two pairs. The couple with the fewest votes from the public will face a heartbreaking exit from the island, leaving the remaining four couples as the finalists.

Host Maya Jama makes her return to the villa and gathers the Islanders around the fire pit. She announces that while on their romantic dates, the Islanders were asked to vote for the couple they thought was the least compatible. She then reveals who each couple voted for, leading to reactions from Ella B & Mitch and Whitney & Lochan as they discover their fellow Islanders’ opinions. Maya reveals the couple who received the fewest votes from the public and announces their departure from the island.

In a private vote, Ella B & Mitchel received four votes from their fellow Islanders as the least compatible couple, while Whitney & Lochan received one vote. It was then up to the public to decide which of the two couples would stay.

Entering the villa with a much-awaited revelation, host Maya Jama announced the public’s decision. Unfortunately, it was Ella B & Mitchel who received the fewest votes, leading to their heart-wrenching exit from Love Island.

With Ella B & Mitchel out of the running, the stage is set for an intense showdown in the Monday final. Whitney & Lochan, Jess & Sammy, Ella & Tyrique, and Molly & Zach will battle it out, with the public having the final say on who takes home the coveted £50,000 prize.
