In this episode, TV presenter and entertainer Dave Benson Phillips, musician Max George, radio broadcaster Remi Burgz, comedian Shazia Mirza, and award-winning comedian and broadcaster Terry Christian will face off to prove their cooking prowess.
The first test that awaits these eager contenders is the nerve-wracking “Under the Cloche” challenge. Before each celebrity, a cloche conceals a unique ingredient. With a fully-stocked larder at their disposal, they must impress the discerning judges, John Torode and Gregg Wallace, by creating a mouthwatering dish showcasing their ingredient. The clock is ticking, with just over an hour to whip up a plate of food from scratch. The pressure is on, and the contestants must think fast and demonstrate their potential to the judges.
As the tension rises, the contestants push their culinary creativity to the limits in the final challenge – “Dinner Party Dishes.” They are tasked with preparing a main course and a dessert that they would serve to impress a special guest at a dinner party. With just one hour and 15 minutes, they must work tirelessly to showcase their skills, flair, and creativity to the judges.
As the clock ticks down, the celebrities put their hearts and souls into their culinary creations, aiming to secure a spot in the next round. However, at the end of this challenging test, one contestant will face elimination and have to bid farewell to the MasterChef kitchen.
