Throughout the competition, the chefs aim to bridge the generational gap with their unique approach and techniques. From utilizing Snoopy Sno-Cone machines to baking with Easy-Bake Ovens, the competitors have to navigate challenges inspired by 1950s gelatin molds and savory Jell-O salads, as well as modern dishes like accordion potatoes and fluffy Japanese soufflé pancakes.
