Get ready to tune in for a musical extravaganza like no other as “Name That Tune” returns with a brand-new episode airing on October 3, 2023, at 8:00 PM, exclusively on FOX. This iconic music game show is back with a twist, and it’s bringing together a lineup of talented celebrities for a musical showdown.
Hosted by Tony Award winner Jane Krakowski and led by Grammy Award-winning producer Randy Jackson as the band leader, “Name That Tune” promises an evening of catchy tunes, high-stakes competition, and charitable causes.
In this special episode, titled “Girls Just Want To Have Fun,” celebrity contestants will take the stage, competing in pairs to test their knowledge of songs performed by the live band. The episode features the following pairings:
- Megan Hilty (playing for Project Angel Food) vs. Rumer Willis (playing for Planned Parenthood): Megan Hilty, known for her role in “Smash,” and Rumer Willis from “Empire” will go head-to-head in a musical showdown.
- Belinda Carlisle (playing for Animal People Alliance – APA) vs. Debbie Gibson (playing for The Actors Fund Home): Belinda Carlisle and Debbie Gibson, both acclaimed singer-songwriters and artists, will bring their musical prowess to the competition.
Each one-hour episode of “Name That Tune” consists of two stand-alone half-hour contests, culminating in the iconic Bid-a-Note round. The contestant with the most money at the end of Bid-a-Note advances to the final Golden Medley round, where they have a chance to win additional cash and potentially the grand prize of $100,000.
