In this episode, the lovable characters Mike and Alison find themselves in a hilarious and tricky situation.
Mike takes the brave step of discussing their financial situation with Alison, following the unfortunate loss of their B&B business. However, Alison has something entirely different on her mind – a mischievous plan for revenge on the mischievous ghosts of the house, all in the spirit of April Fools’ Day. To execute her clever schemes, she enlists the help of the playful Humphrey. But the question remains, who will prove to be the most challenging to fool among the mischievous ghosts?
Meanwhile, Mike gets a shock when an unexpected visitor from their insurance company arrives on his doorstep. This unannounced visit is to investigate the details of the gatehouse fire, and Mike must use all his charm and wit to convince her that lightning can indeed strike thrice.
