Deep within the Costa Rican rainforest, an extraordinary event takes place above a unique pond. Here, up to ten thousand gliding tree frogs, in the largest gathering ever recorded, descend from the treetops for a crucial annual breeding event.

This remarkable spectacle lasts only a single day, and with the male frogs outnumbering the females by nine to one, fierce competition unfolds as they vie for a chance to continue their lineage.
