A deadly love triangle took a sinister turn when a Texas auto executive’s affair with an escort ended in tragedy. Holly Williams, a 33-year-old aesthetician from Nashville, Tennessee, and her boyfriend, William “Bill” Lanway, were found shot to death in a double homicide on March 12, 2020.
The investigation uncovered a chilling plot orchestrated by Erik Charles Maund, a prominent auto dealer from Austin, Texas. Maund, who had been involved in an extramarital affair with Williams, faced extortion from Lanway, who threatened to expose the affair if Maund didn’t pay up.
