In the heart of central Manchester and Salford, dispatchers Mel and Nat take charge, coordinating the emergency response efforts. Meanwhile, paramedics Ash and Sarah, Jill and Lewis, along with senior paramedic Jack, hit the road, ready to spring into action at a moment’s notice.
The shift kicks off with a high-stakes call – a baby in distress, coming out bottom first in a breach birth situation. Classified as a Category 1 emergency, the team must act swiftly and decisively to ensure the safety of both mother and child.
