48 Hours “Where Is Diana Duve?” April 13 2024 Recap & Preview

Join 48 HOURS for a riveting investigation into the disappearance of Diana Duve, a 26-year-old woman who vanished one fateful night in 2014 from Vero Beach, Florida. Tune in to the CBS Television Network on Saturday, April 13, 2024 (9:00 PM, ET/PT), or stream on Paramount+, as contributor Michelle Miller and the 48 HOURS team unravel the mystery in “Where Is Diana Duve?”

Diana Duve’s last known moments were spent leaving a bar with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Michael Jones. Witnesses reported that the couple appeared to be in good spirits, but there were signs of tension, with Duve visibly upset at one point. Concern grew when Duve failed to return home and neglected to call her mother—a daily ritual.

As investigators delved into Jones’s background, they uncovered a complex web of deceit and manipulation. Despite his impressive education and successful career as a wealth manager at PNC Bank, Jones had a penchant for fabricating extravagant lies, including claiming to be adopted by Ronald Reagan’s son.

Tragically, Duve’s body was discovered in the trunk of her car parked in a shopping center parking lot in Melbourne, Florida. Jones was subsequently charged and tried for her murder, but the full extent of the truth remained elusive.

“Where Is Diana Duve?” features interviews with Duve’s mother, Lena Andrews, as well as key investigators and individuals connected to the case. With meticulous reporting and compelling storytelling, 48 HOURS sheds light on the heartbreaking search for justice in the face of tragedy.

Produced by Chris Young Ritzen, with development producers Marc Goldbaum, David Dow, and Michelle Sigona, and field producers Jennifer Terker and Hannah Vair, “Where Is Diana Duve?” promises to captivate audiences with its gripping narrative and relentless pursuit of truth. Tune in to witness this compelling investigation unfold, guided by the expertise of the 48 HOURS team led by executive producer Judy Tygard.
