What Happened to Tiffany Pugh?
Tiffany Pugh’s tragic demise initially appeared as a botched robbery, but Atlanta investigators soon delved deeper into the circumstances surrounding her death. On November 23, 2014, Tiffany, a rising star at Delta Airlines, was found shot to death in her East Point home by her husband Andre Pugh, also known as DJ Awesome. Despite initial suspicions of a home invasion, investigators discovered that the perpetrator bypassed valuables and targeted Tiffany specifically, indicating a more personal motive behind the crime.
As the investigation progressed, detectives uncovered troubling details about Tiffany and Andre’s marriage. Tiffany had been preparing to divorce Andre, citing serious marital issues. Despite Andre’s claims of innocence and his alibi of working at Club Onyx the night of Tiffany’s murder, evidence from phone and financial records painted a different picture. Andre’s attempts to salvage the marriage while engaging in extramarital affairs, coupled with financial strain and his desire to retain ownership of their house, provided a motive for foul play.
Phone records also implicated Andre’s best friend, Adrian Harley, in Tiffany’s murder.
