This Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 10:00 PM ET/PT, 48 Hours presents “Dead Girls Don’t Talk”, a chilling investigation into the crimes of David Pearce, a Los Angeles man convicted of murdering two women and sexually assaulting seven others.

Pearce, whose victims included Hilda Marcela Cabrales and Christy Giles, was found guilty of poisoning the two women, whose tragic deaths were initially overlooked before investigators uncovered the horrifying truth. Pearce’s chilling statement, “dead girls don’t talk,” reflected his belief that he could escape justice. However, brave survivors are now speaking out, and their stories are helping to bring Pearce to justice.

Correspondent Jonathan Vigliotti has been investigating this case for more than three years, and in this exclusive 48 Hours episode, he speaks with one survivor, identified only as “Jackie,” who refuses to be silenced by Pearce’s actions. “I wouldn’t say ‘survivor.’ I’m a fighter. That’s what I am,” Jackie says in her emotional interview.

The episode also includes interviews with Detective Jonathan Vander Lee of the LAPD West Bureau Homicide and Lieutenant Calvin You of the LAPD Hollywood Division, who played key roles in the investigation.
