ABC will not air a new episode of 20/20 on Friday, December 19, 2025. The program is being pre-empted for live coverage of the College Football Playoff First Round featuring a high-stakes matchup between Alabama and Oklahoma. Kickoff is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. ET from Memorial Stadium in Norman, Oklahoma.

This game marks the third meeting in just over a year between the two powerhouse programs.
