Samantha Meier is a highly experienced education leader based in Massachusetts, recognized for her depth of expertise in instructional leadership, curriculum alignment, and school operations. Originally associated with North Reading and the Greater Boston region, her career has spanned nearly every level of K–12 education. She began her professional journey after serving from 1995 to 2000 as a quartermaster second class in the U.S. Coast Guard, where she developed the discipline, leadership, and logistical skills that would later support her work in school administration. Samantha moved into school leadership through Revere Public Schools, serving nine years as vice principal and then becoming principal of Garfield Middle School for three years. Her leadership path continued when she became principal of Salem High School, where she guided the school through significant academic pathway expansion, MTSS restructuring, and the operational challenges of COVID-19 return-to-school planning. In 2021, she joined Peabody Veterans Memorial High School as assistant principal, where she focused on school improvement planning, schedule redesign, educator evaluation systems, and grant writing. She later advanced within Peabody Public Schools to become Director of Teaching and Learning (STEM), overseeing district curriculum alignment, professional learning, and STEM-related grant acquisition. Her work emphasized equity, impactful instruction, and improved academic outcomes across science and mathematics classrooms. As of 2025, Samantha serves as Dean of Students and Student Operations at Gloucester High School, where she leads student culture initiatives, support structures, discipline systems, and operational processes.
