Stahl meets with the influential Republican congresswoman at her Georgia home and in the halls of Congress in Washington, D.C., to discuss her America First, populist views as she rises in the party. The Secretary and the Border
Sharyn Alfonsi reports from the border between the United States and Mexico and speaks with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas about the large number of migrants attempting to enter the United States. Andy Court is the show’s producer.
Fire and Ice
Bill Whitaker returns to Iceland to investigate a volcano that erupted in 2021 and has since created a new landscape of molten rock and snow. Whitaker investigates the discoveries made by Icelandic scientists in forecasting eruptions, which could be applied to similar volcanoes around the world. Heather Abbott is the executive producer.

60 Minutes Series Information
60 Minutes, the most successful broadcast in television history. Offering hard-hitting investigative reports, interviews, feature segments, and profiles of people in the news, the CBS News magazine has been the number-one program a record five times. It also finished among Nielsen’s annual top-10 list for 23 consecutive seasons – a record never even approached by another program. The program has won more Emmy Awards than any other primetime broadcast, including a special Lifetime Achievement Emmy. It has also won virtually every other broadcast journalism award, plus 15 Peabody awards for excellence in television broadcasting. 60 Minutes was created in 1968 by Don Hewitt and premiered on CBS September 24th of that year.
