Sean Fletcher is in Hendy, South Wales, visiting the most successful leech farm in Europe, which provides 70% of the world’s medicinal leeches. He comes along for feeding time and learns how these three-jawed creatures, which were once despised, are regaining popularity by aiding patients in recovering from severe injuries or infections.
