Table Tennis, also known as ping-pong, made its debut as an Olympic sport at the Seoul Games in 1988, and its playing surface is about 45 square feet. A standard table tennis table measures 9 feet long by 5 feet wide, which is approximately 45 square feet.
In addition to men’s and women’s singles and team events, there are also events for mixed doubles, which was introduced at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
