Final Jeopardy Answer

The Final Jeopardy Answer is: Milk Duds

Final Jeopardy Explanation

Milk Duds were launched in 1928, when the Hoffman & Company of Chicago made an attempt to create a sphere-shaped, chocolate-covered caramel confection. The sweets were referred to as “duds” since they failed to achieve the desired spherical shape. This is where “Milk Duds” got its name. The production of Milk Duds and Hoffman & Company were both acquired by Holloway in the same year and is today produced by Hershey’s.
