According to ancient Greek mythology and religion, Eos is the goddess and personification of the dawn who arose every morning from her home at the edge of the river Oceanus to bring light. She pulls her two-horse chariot every day to announce the dawn and the coming of her brother Sol, or Helios in Roman.

In Greek mythology and poetry, she is depicted as a goddess with a voracious appetite for sex who had many boyfriends for her own gratification and gave birth to many of their offspring.
