Today’s Final Jeopardy
Calling him “the embodiment of pure intellect” in December 1999 TIME Magazine named him Person of the Century
Final Jeopardy Answer
The Final Jeopardy Answer is: Albert Einstein
Final Jeopardy Explanation
TIME Magazine named Albert Einstein Person of the Century on December 31 1999. The magazine “profiled those individuals who — for better or worse — most influenced the last 100 years. They are considered in five fields of endeavor, culminating with Person of the Century: Albert Einstein“.
It started off by describing Einstein as follows “He was the embodiment of pure intellect, the bumbling professor with the German accent, a comic cliche in a thousand films. Instantly recognizable, like Charlie Chaplin’s Little Tramp, Albert Einstein’s shaggy-haired visage was as familiar to ordinary people as to the matrons who fluttered about him in salons from Berlin to Hollywood“.
