Final Jeopardy Answer

The Final Jeopardy Answer is: Schindler’s List

Final Jeopardy Explanation

Mimi Reinhard was responsible for typing Schindler’s List, a list of Jewish prisoners working in factories owned by factory owner Oskar Schindler who were saved from almost certain annihilation as a result.

The approximately 1,100 on the list survived Nazi rule thanks to Schindler’s involvement, who granted them protected status as industrial workers at his enamelware factory in Kraków, the seat of the General Government, and after 1944, in an armaments industry in occupied Czechoslovakia. There, they evaded being sent to concentration camps and lived through the war.

Mimi Reinhard was given the job and allowed to work in the camp office because she could speak fluent German and could take shortland. She passed in 2022, aged 107.
