The biggest thing I ( and I think the presenter took away ) was that we have a huge untapped energy source in this country that is not being exploited because if the vested interests of large companies in wind and solar and that is hydro. The two Archimedes screws (which to me looked quite modest) produced a huge amount of constant power compared to the average power output of that massive intrusive solar farm. There must be thousands of sites all over the country where hydro power like that could be installed at very low cost financially and environmentally and of great benefit to rural communities.
