Hoarders Series Information

Hoarders" is an often painful look inside a disease that can bury its sufferer -- literally at times -- in its symptoms. Each hourlong episode profiles two people on the verge of a personal crisis, all caused by the fact that they are unable to part with even the tiniest possessions, and the cumulative effect becomes a mountain of junk and garbage overtaking their home or apartment. If they don't respond to professional help, the consequences sometimes involve eviction, kids being taken away, or even jail time.

Jim’s story was so incredibly tragic, from the horrors he endured in Vietnam to the death of his infant son to the death of his wife. He was such a lovely man who so clearly required intensive support from the VA etc. I’ve never seen anyone agreeable working with the crew. His decline since demonstrate just how complicated this disorder is. He touched my heart and I wish him all the best.

I’ve watched Hoarders for years and I’ve never been so disheartened by the way that Digna and D were treated, yes Elisha is his daughter but Digna and D had nothing to gain themselves by helping while she sat on her butt keeping Larry company
She should be ashamed of herself
And also, she lived in that!!!
I hope Jim can get the help he needs, living with a daughter like that
