The legendary Foo Fighters, making their 9th musical guest appearance on SNL, will bring their iconic rock sound to the stage. Dave Grohl, the Foo Fighters’ frontman will be making his record 13th appearance as a musical guest. However, this appearance is especially significant as it comes after the tragic passing of the band’s longtime drummer, Taylor Hawkins. Originally scheduled to perform in a previous episode, the Foo Fighters had to cancel due to the 2023 Writers Guild of America Strike.
