Final Jeopardy Answer
The Final Jeopardy Answer is: Jutes
Final Jeopardy Explanation
Along with the Angles and the Saxons, the Jutes were one of the Germanic tribes that invaded Britain in the 5th century. The Jutes originated from what is now the Jutland Peninsula, the mainland part of Denmark.
The three groups collectively came to be known as the Anglo-Saxons, and their invasion marked the start of the Early Middle Ages in Britain, often referred to as the Anglo-Saxon period.
